Membership Tiers · The Numbers of Heaven and Earth

The number of Heaven is 25; the number of Earth is 30. Combined, they sum to 55—the supreme principle governing all creations. Ascend through the realms and achieve supreme harmony.

The I Ching teaches: “The numbers of Heaven and Earth are fifty-five in all. The number of Heaven is twenty-five, signifying Yang, the force of growth; the number of Earth is thirty, signifying Yin, the force of attainment. It is through the union of Yin and Yang that the Great Tao is made manifest.”

We must surely be curious: where do these numbers come from?

In short, the ancient Chinese used the decimal system. Now, let’s arrange them as follows:

1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10=55

Here, 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 are representing Yang, symbolizing Heaven; 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 are representing Yin, symbolizing Earth.

Since 1+3+5+7+9=25, the number of Heaven is 25;

2+4+6+8+10=30, so the number of Earth is 30;

The number of Heaven + the number of Earth = 55

We only need to remember that since the counting methods of the ancients were not yet advanced—they likely counted by holding up their fingers—the basic numbers totaled 1 to 10, a total of 10 digits. Among these, odd numbers are Yang numbers, also called the numbers of Heaven. Even numbers are Yin numbers, also called the numbers of Earth.

Throughout China’s 5,000-year history, the I Ching has been hailed as the foremost of all classics, the king of all scriptures, and the classic among classics. Opinions vary regarding the origins and date of the I Ching, which boasts a long history. The prevailing view holds that it originated some 5,000 to 7,000 years ago, when Fuxi created the Eight Trigrams, and was compiled during the late Shang and early Western Zhou dynasties, when King Wen of Zhou expanded and systematized the I Ching-placing its age at over 3,000 years. It stands as the wellspring of Chinese civilization and the ultimate origin of Taoism, Confucianism, and the Hundred Schools of Thought.

 

I. Tier Names and Levels of the Tao:

In accordance with the principles of the I Ching and the Great Tao of Harmony, we have divided membership tiers into 10 levels:

Tier 1・ Taoist Novice (Requires 1 point) - Newly initiated into the Tao, recites scriptures, upholds precepts, and cultivates self-discipline.

Tier 2・ Taoist (Requires 2 points) - With a solid foundation, practices breath refinement, and gains initial mastery of magical arts.

Tier 3・ Perfected Person (Requires 3 points) - Cultivates both spirit and body, attains a serene mind, and achieves lasting longevity.

Tier 4・ Earthly Immortal (Requires 4 points) - Roams the mortal realm freely, lives eternally, and wanders unimpeded through mountains and rivers.

Tier 5・ Divine Immortal (Requires 5 points) - Refines energy into spirit, forms the immortal soul, and begins to manifest divine abilities.

Tier 6・ Heavenly Immortal (Requires 6 points) - Ascends to the heavenly realm, joins the immortals, and possesses a lifespan equal to heaven.

Tier 7・ Mystic Immortal (Requires 7 points) - Comprehends the Great Tao, wields profound immortal power, and governs a celestial domain.

Tier 8・ Golden Immortal (Requires 8 points) - Gathers the Three Flowers atop the crown, unites the Five Energies, and is invulnerable to all arts.

Tier 9・ Great Luo Golden Immortal (Requires 9 points) - Transcends the Three Realms, is beyond birth and death, and endures all calamities.

Tier 10・Primordial Great Luo Golden Immortal (Requires 10 points) - Unified with the Tao, without beginning or end, the supreme, eternal sagehood.

The rules are straightforward: earn points to level up to the highest tier, and unlock exclusive benefits, discounts, and premium privileges from our store and brand.

 

II. Upgrade Rules

Strictly based on the Number of Heaven and Earth 55, in alignment with the Great Tao.

Each point you earn will automatically be converted to 1 star in our system.

7 stars = 1 moon, and 7 moons = 1 sun.

In other words, 7 points earn you 1 moon symbol, and 49 points earn you 1 sun symbol.

 1: Value Settings

Growth Points (Heavenly Number. Yang): Max. 25 points

Attainment Points (Earthly Number. Yin): Max. 30 points

Total Points: 55

2: Upgrade Formula

Level Points = Growth Points + Attainment Points

Points required for each level increase in fixed increments, with the maximum level reached exactly at 55. 

3: Level Points Thresholds & Symbols

  • Taoist Novice: 1 point (Symbol: 1 Star)

  • Taoist: 2 points (Symbol: 3 Stars)

  • Perfected Person: 3 points (Symbol: 6 Stars)

  • EarthlyImmortal: 4 points (Symbol: 1 Moon + 3 Stars)

  • Divine Immortal: 5 points (Symbol: 2 Moons + 1 Star)

  • Heavenly Immortal: 6 points (Symbol: 3 Moons)

  • Mystic Immortal: 7 points (Symbol: 4 Moons)

  • Golden Immortal: 8 points (Symbol: 5 Moons + 1 Star)

  • Great Luo Golden Immortal: 9 points (Symbol: 6 Moons+ 3 Stars)

  • Primordial Great Luo Golden Immortal: 10 points (Symbol: 1 Sun + 6 Stars)

Please note that the supreme tier benefits are only unlocked when you reach max Level 10, which requires a total of 55 accumulated points.

Unlike lower tiers, where benefits are available before fully completing that level, Level 10 is the highest rank and requires reaching the full 55 points to unlock its supreme privileges. Thank you for your understanding!

For instance:

  • You earn 1 point automatically for each successful purchase.

  • You earn an additional 1 point when you share your order and post a thoughtful review on our site after your purchase.

  • You earn 3 points when you share any of our products or links to 5 different social media platforms after your purchase.

  • You earn another 1 point when you refer our store or products to a friend who completes their purchase.

Under this scenario, you would have earned a total of 6 points — equivalent to 6 stars — reaching the maximum rank of the third tier: Perfected Person.

Of course, you may also unlock higher tiers directly through account top-ups. With your active engagement and referrals, you will quickly advance to higher levels and enjoy greater discounts and exclusive privileges.

Your points record at our store will be permanently retained — never reset or deleted — solely to reflect your membership tier and entitle you to all benefits you have earned.

Once you reach the supreme Tier 10, you may continue earning additional points, which the system will automatically convert into corresponding symbols.

III. Rules for Earning Points  

1. Growth Points (Heavenly Numbers / Yang / Activity Level) 

  • Share products on a major social media platform: +1 point per share

  • (After purchase: 1 platform = 1 point; 3 platforms = 2 points; 5 platforms = 3 points. Maximum 3 points total per order)

2. Attainment Points (Earthly Numbers / Yin / Purchase Count)

V. Notes

Please Note: Our maximum points total is 55, leaving exactly 6 points beyond one full sun.

As stated in The Great Treatise of the I Ching:

"The great expanding number is fifty; in operation, forty-nine are used."

The omitted “one” is far from useless — in fact, it holds the highest significance.

Mainstream interpretations include:

  1. The Supreme Pole (Taiji) remains unmoved

The “one” symbolizes the Taiji (Supreme Pole) or primordial energy.

In ancient Chinese cosmology, the original essence of the universe (ti, substance) is still and absolute, while all manifestations (yong, function) are in constant change.

This “one” is left unengaged to serve as the foundation and core of all cosmic motion.

  1. The power of non-being (emptiness)

Like the hub of a wheel or the empty space within a house, the central “emptiness” that does not participate in direct function allows all surrounding movement to exist.

This is the classic Taoist idea: “That which seems useless has the greatest use.”

  1. Not imperfection — but intentional “empty space”

This is not a flaw in the Great Tao, but a living space for change and potential within the order of heaven.

As the Tao teaches: “The Tao of heaven reduces surplus to supplement deficiency.”

The “one” represents eternal dynamic transformation, with no absolute fixed state.

In simple terms:

50 = the theoretical total

49 = the practical operating total

The “one” is the underlying code of the entire system.

It does not take part in direct calculation, yet it is the fundamental premise that makes all calculation possible.

The cosmic number of Heaven and Earth is 55,while the great evolving number is 50, of which 49 are employed.

In our points system, 49 points correspond to 1 Sun symbol. When you reach the full level of 55 points, there will be 6 points remaining.

As stated in the Tao Te Ching: “The Tao of Heaven reduces abundance to replenish deficiency.”

These extra points are not useless. They represent variables, held in reserve for the moment of change.

The Tao of Heaven abhors excess; the way of humanity abhors completeness. Humanity is so small in the universe that what we call “perfection” amounts to nothing against the order of the Earth, the solar system, the Milky Way, distant galaxies, and the cosmos itself.

Yet what distinguishes humans from all other species that have ever existed on Earth is this: we never cease to explore, to seek the meaning of life, and to elevate our spiritual realm.
