Forged from bronze and fully gilded with imperial fire-gilding technique, it features a dense, warm gold layer that retains its understated luster after centuries with no signs of peeling. Standing on a double-tiered lotus throne, Guanyin forms protective mudras with her primary hands, while the remaining six arms hold ritual implements, symbolizing infinite vows to save all beings. The flame-pattern mandorla is finely chased, and flowing robes reflect the distinct “Yongle aesthetic” of Ming sculpture.
