Padmasambhava established it firmly in Xizang, making it the foundation of Nyingma and Sakya schools. Ucchusma of Tangmi and Acala of Japanese Shingon share the same origin, branching out while keeping the same root. This yab-yum statue is not only a timeless masterpiece of Tibetan tantric art, but also physical evidence of the integration of various tantric schools. Forms vary in thousands of ways, yet the Dharma is one. All wrathful deities are emanations of great compassion.
