This Tibetan Tantric Manjushri statue is crafted from antique copper with a traditional aged patina. The head and neck are exquisitely gilded, while the rest of the body is embellished with hand-painted polychrome details.. Strictly following Tibetan iconographic rules, it features sublime facial features and standard five topknots. The Bodhisattva holds a wisdom sword in the right hand, while his left hand forms the abhaya mudra, the gesture of fearlessness and protection, seated in full lotus position upon an exquisite lotus throne. Plain yet elegant in style, it perfectly reproduces the charm of ancient Buddhist statues. As a fine artwork inheriting traditional craftsmanship, it also delivers sacred blessings of wisdom.
