This statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva is crafted from bronze with paste gilding and an antique aged finish. The thick body is covered in smooth patina, embodying the time-honored charm of traditional craftsmanship. Adhering to Tibetan Buddhist iconography, the Bodhisattva sits in a relaxed lotus posture atop a six-tusked elephant, with the right hand in the Abhaya mudra, symbolizing protection, fearlessness, and boundless vows. The weathered gold traces and mellow patina reflect both the solemnity of Buddhist art and the serene compassion of Eastern aesthetics, making it a sacred object of both collectible value and spiritual blessing.

This statue follows the Tibetan-Nepalese hybrid style, a mature form of Himalayan Buddhist art from the 17th–18th centuries (early to mid-Qing Dynasty). Rooted in the Malla Dynasty aesthetic of Nepal, it features a tall three-leaf crown, a serene rounded face, and a sturdy elephant mount—hallmarks of the period. The copper body, finished with traditional paste gilding and an aged patina, reflects both the Nepalese elegance and Tibetan craftsmanship of the era.
